A new feature of the Miss PNG Quest this year is the use of Facebook and Twitter to keep people informed of what is happening minute by minute! Just search for Miss PNG Quest and view all the exciting events as they happen.
We had a really fantastic week last week with the media release and opening of applications for contestants this year. The new Miss PNG Quest Chairperson, Suzannah Davis, outlined the format and changes in the Quest this year. Antonnia Singut, the reigning Miss PNG, encouraged other young PNG women to enter the Quest while John Malai, the National Chairman for the PNG Red Cross discussed the importance of raising this money for the Red Cross and the essential work they are able to carry out as a result of the raised funds. John Mangos, CEO of Digicel (PNG) invited other corporate sponsors to join them in supporting the Quest this year. Red Cross have already received numerous calls from potential applicants which is great to see.
